Spring COVID-19 Booster programme – April to June
The 2025 Spring Booster for COVID-19 vaccination programme will start from mid April until the end of June. If you are in one of the eligible groups, please consider getting your booster dose to ensure you maintain protection against serious illness.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Adults aged 75 years and over: Will be vaccinated by their GP, a community pharmacy, or a Trust Clinic
- Residents in care homes for older adults: Will be vaccinated by community pharmacies
- Immunosuppressed individuals aged 18 years and over: Will be vaccinated by their GP, a community pharmacy, or a Trust clinic
- Immunosuppressed individuals aged 5 to 17 years: Will be vaccinated by a Trust Clinic
- Immunosuppressed individuals aged 6 months to 4 years: Will be vaccinated by a Trust Clinic
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the ‘immunosuppression’ sections of tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book).
How you will be contacted:
- GP Practices will contact:
- Patients over 75 years of age
- Immunosuppressed individuals aged 5 years and over
- Trusts will contact:
- Immunosuppressed individuals aged 6 months to 4 years
- Housebound patients
- Community Pharmacies will contact:
- Care home residents
- Housebound patients will be identified by their GP and vaccinated by a Trust Clinic, through District Nursing Teams.
